Ce samedi après-midi, nos montures nous ont emmené jusqu'à Øyenkilen, un lieu d'un bord de mer déchiqueté attirant une foule de tourists. L'endroit est accessible par route via un tunnel au-dessous des eaux et un bon nombre de ponts.

That Saturday afternoon our Iron horses took us to Øyenkilen, a popular touristic spot at a very jagged seaside area. The place is accessible by road via numerous bridges and an under water tunnel.

 

OK un peu longuet à regarder mais la descente et la remontée sont assez impressionnantes en réel!

OK a bit longish to watch but the down and up hills are quite impressif in real!

     

     

Puis un petit arrêt pour visiter un ancien poste de defence (qui n'a malheureusement pas eu le succès espéré) datant de la 2ème guerre. 

Then a quick stop to visit a WW2 defence outpost (unfortunately not as successful as hoped) 

Le genre de bombe qui étaient jetées à la mer afin que les vaisseaux ennemis puissent se faire exploser dessus.

The kind of bomb thrown in the sea hoping some ennemi ship will blow its up over it.

 Qu'avait le concepteur en tête à ce moment là?

 What was the designer thinking about then?

   

Sur le chemin du retour, nous nous sommes arrêtés à Fredrikstad pour serrer la pince à la statue représentant les travailleurs de la région.

On the way back, we stopped at Fredrikstad to shake hands with the statue representing the work force of the region.

Le soir venu, c'était la fête avec un barbecue et BEAUCOUP à boire !!!

Then came the evening and party time with a barbecue and LOTS to drink !!!

Pour information, la petite de gauche roule une V Rod .... malheureusement je n'ai pas eu le plaisir de l'admirer en action. 

For info, the girlie on the left rides a V Rod ... unfortunately I did not have the pleasure of seeing her on her bike.
